Short version: scan your own networks, don't do anything illegal, and we're good.
Use this app on networks you own or have permission to scan. Signal readings are estimates, not exact measurements. Don't blame us if your network changes break something.
1. The app
CoverageKit is a network diagnostic tool. It discovers devices on your local network, tracks which access point is serving your device, estimates signal strength via latency, and maps coverage. It's a utility to help optimize your WiFi setup.

⚠️ Important: Signal strength readings are estimates based on ping latency, not actual radio measurements. iOS doesn't expose real RSSI to apps. Use results as general guidance, not precise measurements.
5. No warranty
The app is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it'll be bug-free, super accurate, or work perfectly on every network configuration. We do our best, but things happen.
6. Liability
We're not responsible for any network issues, configuration changes you make based on our readings, or problems arising from unauthorized network scanning. You're responsible for how you use the app.
7. Privacy
All your data stays on your device. No servers, no tracking, no accounts. Read the full Privacy Policy.
8. Changes
We might update these terms. If we do, we'll update the date at the bottom. Keep using the app = you accept the changes.
